The SIYB Nepal Secretariat is inviting visitors to explore its new website and learn more about the services and SIYB training opportunities.
The site offers quick and easy access to essential information and features while also offering a comprehensive understanding of SIYB Nepal and its services. The website also provides updated information on news and events, testimonials and a contact list of Nepal’s internationally recognised SIYB Trainers.
Mr Ananda Bahadur Shrestha, Executive Director of Industrial Enterprise Development Institute (IEDI), said “This is an exciting occasion, after 16 years of implementing SIYB Nepal we now have a direct means for promoting and communicating with our partners and Nepal’s entrepreneurial community.”
The new website has been designed with the strong support from IEDI, a founding partner of SIYB Nepal and current host of the SIYB Nepal Coordinator, to provide the ultimate informative experience for Nepal’s entrepreneurs and development sector.
“I would like to thank all of SIYB Nepal Secretariat Members and existing service provides for their ongoing support. In my opinion SIYB Nepal is now the most effective and popular programme for creating and empowering our entrepreneurs in Nepal,” said Mr Shrestha.
Two Australian Volunteers for International Development, Joe Kobier and Cameron Brown, currently stationed with IEDI, assisted in the site’s construction and will continue to provide support to the Coordinator of the SIYB Secretariat Nepal, Mr Dilip Thapa.
This website has been created as part of a series of new tools and materials produced for the benefit of SIYB Nepal Secretariat, its participants and partners. The Secretariat recently released a new promotional brochure and a summary report of the SIYB Nepal programme’s last 16 years in Nepal. Both of these documents are available for download from the website.
